I’ll be interested in how this new rule will affect the singles classifieds in Europe. Think of all the categories they’ll have to do away with – Men Seeking Women, Women Seeking Men, Men Seeking Men. They are gonna be reduced to Person Seeking Person. Doesn’t that just conjure up romantic images in your head!?

A pioneer in pornography (though his films were extremely tame) Russ Meyer has died. IMDB has his complete filmography. I didn’t realize he had made a film as recently as 2001.

This Roger Ebert obit for Russ is probably the best thing you’ll see written about Meyer. Back in the early 70′s Meyer made his first major studio film (Beyond the Valley of the Dolls), for which he chose Ebert to write the screenplay.
