The biggest problem with Sony’s new PSP – that you have to re-purchased any movies you want to watch on it in a different format – may have been solved by the PSP Video 9. That little software can convert your existing DVDs into a format thats suitable for play on the PSP. Wired News thinks this may be the mobile porn killer app. They talk about this thing like it could be a sex toy.

The PSP is a non-intrusive device, less threatening than a laptop if you want to bring it to bed, alone or with your partner(s). I know several folks who use porn to help transition quickly from work and parenting to sex and loving. It’s a shortcut on those nights when they want to have sex but know they’re too tired to expend major effort warming up.

Rather than playing the movie on a television, why not cuddle around the PSP? My inside source at gamer channel G4 says the video quality is great and believes it would be “an incredibly intimate experience” to watch erotic movies together on the device. The PSP won’t be in your way like a laptop or a DVD player, and you don’t have to clear off the nightstand to set it down when you’re done.
