HBO is going to run a series this summer called ‘Cathouse’, which will be centered on the Bunny Ranch out in Nevada. I’ve seen their previous specials on that place, and it should be interesting. One thing I’ve never quite believed though is the owners claim as to how much money gets spent out at that place.

“We had one customer spend $1,700,000 dollars in one visit after the last show. That’s what national notoriety and a TV show will do for you. It brings in better girls and better customers.”

Hof said that the big-spending customer flew into Carson City in his private jet and stayed at the Ranch for a few days.

“Each day he’d wire in another $400,000,” he recalled. “A few of the girls just retired they made so much money. They all went out and bought new Cadillac Escalades.”
