2 of the studios that provide us with DVD screeners, Platinum X Pictures & Red Light District, are having a fundraiser to raise money for the victims of hurricane Katrina on Saturday night. Here’s the details.

Team Red Light District, Red Light District Film, and Platinum X are proud to announce it is teaming up with Johnny Barraco and The Forbidden City in Hollywood, this Saturday night, 9/10/05 as a fundraiser, proceeds will be donated to The Red Cross’ “Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund”. The party is being built around Red Light District Film, Inc. first full length feature film, DARKSIDE, and many of that movie will be included in the donation processes.

RLD, RLD Film, Platinum X and all directors within each of these companies are donating 600 DVD’s which will be available to those attending the party for their donations, all the proceeds will be donated 100%. The Forbidden City will donate 100% of it’s door revenue. These total amounts of donations will then be matched by both David Joseph, owner of RLD, RLD Film, and Platinum X, and by The Forbidden City.
