Well, Prince certainly got the most out of his Superbowl performance. I didn’t think anybody cared about him or his music anymore (I certainly don’t), but his giant shadow phallic symbol with the demon guitar was a stroke of brilliance.
Defamer reminds us of how it could have been worse in mentioning that back in the Purple Rain days, Prince actually had a guitar that would ‘ejaculate’ onstage. That would have been worth the FCC fine if you ask me.
